I really love that scene when igarashi is all alone in that izakaya and that drunk dude suddenly start talking random sh*t and igarashi was so scared then takeda suddenly shows up and defended igarashi that's so wholesome to see and making that drunk guy think what he did is wrong

Really? I found that to be the cringiest part of the whole anime. Any time a pretty girl character is alone, a weirdo walks up and starts acting weird until they are "rescued" by the guy character. It was the same recycled scene over and over. Like a guy trying to strike up a conversation with a girl on the street = rape. Natsumi even stomped on a guy's foot just for talking to her. That's just rude.

Lot's of people are saying that... hopefully as a joke. I hope nobody here actually believes that's how sex works.

unpopular opinion: Futaba x Takeda is way better than Sakurai x Kazama

Cuz we don't knows about Takeda's side and also Poor Futaba tries so hard which is very interesting to see and is cuter. Sakurai x Kazama looks like a generic romcom couple

I don't see them becoming a couple, but close friends as they grow older. Sure, she's got a good decade on him, but I see her more encouraging him to date girls closer his age when he gets to that point. Yeah, he'll likely be heartbroken if she finds a soulmate before he graduates college, but I don't think they'll risk friendship for a romantic relationship.

I could see it where he would confess, but got rejected because she would say she'll be too old for him and asked him to find someone better, to which he would promise her saying he would grew up properly and graduates his school, finds a job and then tries his shot again when he feels that he finally being a proper guy for her, in a really "awe" manner, to which she would probably say "I'll wait".
Then we probably have a timeskip, and we got to see them, possibly hanging out, walking abit closer beside each other.

It would be sweet, and possible a generation or two ago, but these days, if it went that way, she be branded a pedo grooming a child for a later conquest. Besides, I don't think her interest really rests on males, but I could be wrong. She does show a lot more interest in Igarashi, after all.

I mean.... this stuff still happened around nowadays, on some other parts of the world, even in the west. I think it's still a thing from where I came from as well.
People don't find any issues with it if they only knew each other before making things official at the right time of appropriation. It would only be an issue if things do happened when before it's of age for both in the relationship.

I like Sakurai and Kazama better tho, I wouldn't call it generic, I don't think I've seen much like them, very wholesome, I wasn't that invested in the main couple and was just waiting for them to show Sakurai and Kazama haha

Kazama and Sakurai gives off the same vibe as Hanako and Kabakura from Wotakoi. Both couples are loved more than the main one. xD
